Amit Bhatia brings over 24 years of extensive experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology management across global organizations. As Global Chief Information Officer at Karam Safety, Amit is responsible for driving the company’s IT vision, leading digital innovation, strengthening data security frameworks, and ensuring technology alignment with business resilience and growth objectives.

About his previous roles:

Before joining Karam Safety, he served as Associate Vice President at HCL Technologies, where he spearheaded the digital transformation of IT systems across 52 countries and managed $11.5 billion revenue-generation processes. He focused on key pillars like supply chain, project management, IT asset management, and BI-driven decision support, with a vision to scale business outcomes to $20 billion by 2025. He also held the position of Chief Information Officer at Jaquar & Company Private Limited for over four years, where he was responsible for global IT strategy, operations, and cross-functional leadership initiatives, driving enterprise-wide digital innovation. As the Head of Information Technology at Azure Power, he led IT operations and governance, ensuring robust system performance, operational efficiency, and compliance. At Bharti Infratel Limited, he served in multiple leadership roles, including General Manager & Head PMO and Deputy General Manager – Project Delivery, spanning nearly eight years. During this tenure, he executed large-scale business technology strategies, ERP transformations, IT service delivery models, and major project governance frameworks. He also drove portfolio management for interrelated IT projects, ERP upgrades, and disaster recovery systems, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. He also spent over eight years at LG CNS India, where he progressed from Project Leader to Project Manager, handling automation-led logistics, transportation, and integration projects for the consumer durables business. His leadership at LG Electronics India (LGEAI) further expanded his experience in SCM and integration initiatives. He began his career at Ascomp Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as a Software Engineer and Module Leader, where he led ERP suite development and implementation projects, laying the foundation for his strong technical and managerial expertise in IT systems.
