About his previous roles:

Prior to his current role, Karan Parwani served as Vice President of Technology Audit at MUFG, where he oversaw key technology audits, ensuring robust controls and compliance across critical systems. Before that, he spent over a decade at Citi India, advancing from AVP to VP of IT Audit, where he played a pivotal role in system audits, risk management, and ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards. He also held positions at Axis Bank as AVP of IS Audit and HSBC as Associate Vice President of IT Audit, where he focused on enhancing IT governance and mitigating risks. His earlier career includes roles at Ernst & Young, Lehman Brothers, and FTIL, where he contributed to IT risk management, application audits, and process optimization. His career journey began as a programmer at Rediff.com, where he developed and maintained web applications, showcasing his technical acumen from the outset.
