Sharad Sadadekar joins ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. as Head- Cybersecurity & Data Protection

Sharad Sadadekar who was previously working with HDFC Life as Senior Vice President and Group CISO has now been appointed as Head- Cybersecurity & Data Protection at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd.

Sharad in his Linkedin post expressed that as he steps into the next chapter of his professional life, it is exciting times ahead, but he feels more confident about continuing the spree, as he moves on as mature, polished, harder, better, faster, sharper, stronger and agile pro with a lot of learning under the belt & expertise, judgment, and experience in hindsight.

He also stated that ‘Great is the art of beginning, but greater is the art of ending….’

Sharad joined HDFC Life in 2001 as an Executive and Technical Specialist. Gradually he was promoted as Senior Vice President. He was responsible for providing strategic technology-enabled business solutions in this position.

Sharad has extensive management and domain experience in driving the Information and Cyber Security programs in key aspects of Cyber security Maturity and Benchmarking, Policy, Standards, Frameworks, Awareness in the new age, NextGen SOC, Threat Visibility and Hunting, Identity & Access Management, IT Governance, Network Security, Brand Reputation Management, Incident Response, Crisis Planning and Response, APT and Malware protection, Software and Regulatory Compliance, Online portals and E-commerce security, Data Flow Analysis and Protection, Third Party Risk Management, Cloud Security, Business Continuity Planning and Cyber Insurance.
