Marketing in the IT/cybersecurity industry can be tricky! What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, and how did you tackle it?

Justifying the ROI for cybersecurity events is a challenge. Influencing sales to take the right action on the contacts/leads with multiple touch points is key.

Marketing teams are the backbone of any brand. How do you build a high-performing team and align their goals with other departments?

Responding to business needs is what matters. Working along with the sales, pre sales, account managers leads to effective marketing. The changes in the cybersecurity needs are very fast and the team needs to know about whats happening and craft stories accordingly. That’s what makes the marketing team the backbone.

What legacy do you hope to leave behind as a marketing leader?

I strive to make content the backbone of marketing for driving engagement, and brand growth.
