This time, we are pleased to know about the journey of Navin Nathani in cybersecurity. He has contributed towards cybersecurity and has set a remarkable working style. Question: Describe your current role, and what responsibilities do you undertake or any specific achievements you would like to mention.

At Aditya Birla Group, Hindalco Industries, I head strategic IT Transformation projects. I am responsible for delivering key needle shifting initiatives across Demand and Supply Chain leveraging the power of automation, process re-engineering and data transformation.

Question: Your Journey in the cybersecurity Industry.

My overall journey in Cybersecurity has been exciting and full of learnings. In one of my previous stints, I was responsible for ensuring cybersecurity principles and frameworks were seamlessly leveraged across global regions through the formation of SARB (Security Architecture Review Board) which initiated the paradigm of Zero Trust.

Question: If you could make one recommendation to the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, what would it be?

One thing I would like to recommend the next gen of cybersecurity leaders is to gain business acumen and be at the forefront of change challenging status quo. My favourite quote which sums this up this article will be “Given the choice between dancing pigs and security, users will pick dancing pigs every time”.
