6. Brand Partnerships, Sponsored and Third-Party Content

  • Content marked as sponsored, partner, press release or advertorial is provided by or for third parties. We do not endorse the products, services or claims of any sponsor or partner.
  • Partnership terms (scope, fees, deliverables and timelines) are set out in a written proposal, order form or email confirmation. Where those conflict with these Terms, the written agreement prevails for that engagement.

7. Events, Awards and Registrations

  • Registration for an event or award does not guarantee entry or selection. We may refuse, reschedule, modify or cancel any event, speaker, agenda or venue where needed.
  • Any fees, cancellation and refund terms will be stated at the time of registration or in the written confirmation. If none are stated, fees paid are non-refundable except where we cancel an event, in which case we will offer a refund or a transfer to a future edition.
  • Awards and recognitions are decided on criteria set by us and our jury. Our decisions are final. Nominations and listings do not constitute an endorsement or certification.
  • Photo and video consent. We may photograph, record and livestream our events. If you object, please inform us in writing before or at the event.

8. CXO Jobs

CXO Junction acts only as an introducer between organisations and candidates. We are not an employer, recruiter on record or guarantor. We do not verify every candidate or employer in depth and do not promise any placement, hiring outcome or specific terms of employment. Any employment or engagement is a matter solely between the parties, and you should carry out your own due diligence.

9. Intellectual Property

By submitting your details, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone, SMS and WhatsApp about your membership, events, publications, partnerships and related updates. Where you have opted in to WhatsApp messages, you consent to receive them from us, including through authorised third-party platforms. You can withdraw consent or opt out at any time by replying "STOP" or by emailing info@cxojunction.com. Opting out of marketing messages will not stop essential service messages about your registration or membership.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and use personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described there. You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@cxojunction.com.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The website may link to or integrate third-party sites and tools (for example LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp and event or payment providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, practices or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Disclaimers

  • The Services and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
  • Our content is for general information and discussion only. It is not legal, financial, investment, security, technical or other professional advice, and you should seek your own professional advice before acting on it.
  • Statistics and figures presented on the website (such as community size and engagement numbers) are our own estimates at the time of publication.
  • We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content is complete, accurate or current.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CXO Junction, its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services, or from reliance on any content, event, member or third party. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim (or INR 10,000 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CXO Junction and its team from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or content or information you submit that infringes the rights of others or violates the law.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access or membership, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, or if we are required to by law. You may stop using the Services or leave the community at any time by writing to us. Sections that by their nature should continue (including confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will survive termination.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to first contact us so that we can try to resolve any dispute amicably. Any dispute that is not resolved will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.

20. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreement for a specific engagement, form the entire agreement between you and CXO Junction. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
