The Google Cloud acquisition of Wiz represents a strategic move to strengthen cloud security capabilities and help organizations build and scale securely across cloud computing and AI platforms.
As enterprises and governments increasingly migrate critical systems to the cloud and adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated. Attackers are also leveraging AI to accelerate and automate cyberattacks, creating new challenges for organizations operating in complex multicloud cloud infrastructure environments.
Wiz offers a cloud-native security platform that provides visibility across cloud infrastructure, applications, and code environments. Its platform integrates with major cloud providers and enables organizations to detect vulnerabilities, prevent breaches, and respond to cybersecurity incidents more efficiently.
