He is an accomplished leader with over three decades of experience in the cement industry, known for successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. He has a proven track record in project management, technical implementations, and automation, which has significantly enhanced operational efficiency and reduced costs. He excels at leading cross-functional teams, driving strategic initiatives, and boosting regional sales and market share. Committed to sustainability, he focuses on minimizing environmental impact while ensuring top-quality standards and maximizing operational efficiency.
About his previous roles:
Prior to his current role, Bhavesh Wala was the Deputy Executive Director and Unit Head at UltraTech Cement from December. He continued to drive operational improvements and foster a stable work environment. He was also a part of UltraTech Cement, where he served for over 26 years in various senior roles. As Senior General Manager and Unit Head at Magdalla Cement Works and later as Vice President and Unit Head at Sonar Bangla Cement , he led initiatives that significantly reduced costs, optimized operations, and achieved record-high production levels. He was also the Quality Control Manager at Ambuja Cements Ltd. (a Holcim Group company), where he developed his expertise in cement production and quality management.
