Sanjeev Nadgir is an Information Security professional with over a decade of experience in consulting and internal roles, including more than four years in leadership positions. He has successfully built scalable Information Security programs across diverse industries such as BFSI, NBFC, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, real estate, e-commerce, and SaaS. Sanjeev’s expertise spans cybersecurity, user awareness, team building and management, risk management, privacy, data protection, and data security. His comprehensive skills and proven track record help him in addressing complex security challenges and protect organizational data.
About his previous role:
Sanjeev Nadgir served as the Director of Information Security at Yellow.ai. In this role, he led compliance with various standards and regulations, including ISO 27001:2013, ISO 27018:2019, SOC 2 Type 1 and 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and other data protection laws across multiple regions (MEA, SEA, EU, SAARC, US, Africa). His responsibilities included DPO and CISO duties, team management, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), external audits, master service agreement (MSA) reviews, RFI/RFP processes, customer closures for InfoSec, and enhancing user awareness. He excelled in risk management and data privacy, bringing a modern and engaging approach to information security in the workplace.
