Question: Describe your current role, and what responsibilities do you undertake or any specific achievements you would like to mention.
Being a CISO of Microscan, I’m responsible for managing Team of Managers, Strategic planning, Budgeting, Developing policy, Procedures, and implementing information security program in entire organization.
Question: Your Journey in the cybersecurity Industry.
I have been in the IT industry past 20 years and now I’m working as a CISO, I started my career as a system and Network administrator ,Hands on experience in the cyber security domain, security engineer, Manager, auditor while gaining experience in critical infrastructure security, application security, Endpoint security, Mobile security, network security, cloud security, IoT security, Data centre security, many more…
Question: If you could make one recommendation to the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, what would it be?
I would recommend a few things as follows –
1: Keep yourself updated with the New Trends and Technologies.
2. Be creative mindset and Think a head.
3. Always Think 360 degree ( what and how could go wrong / potential Risks to the Business, Data)
4. Being a security Leader, Suspect All and Verify All. For the Best Security.
5. Always Get connected with all Security Communities.
