“Built to Find What Others Miss” — The Journey of Jay Arora, CEO of Bug Hunters Pvt. Ltd.

Today on #CEOAspect, we’re spotlighting Jay Arora, the Founder and CEO of Bug Hunters Pvt. Ltd., whose journey from software tester to leading a global cybersecurity brand is a powerful story of focus, resilience, and bold vision.

When asked about the road to becoming a CEO and how eventful the ride has been, he shares:

“My journey to becoming the CEO of Bug Hunters has been one of passion, persistence, and a drive to make a difference in the world of software testing and cybersecurity.

I started out as a software tester, deep in the details of identifying bugs and ensuring smooth user experiences. As businesses moved online, I saw the rising demand for strong testing and cybersecurity services. That insight pushed me to step away from my full-time job in 2015. After freelancing and learning hands-on, I took the leap and founded Bug Hunters.

The goal was clear: build a company that blends quality testing and smart security with a fresh, AI-driven, client-first mindset.

The early phase came with challenges—building trust, hiring the right people, and maintaining consistent quality. But with focus and belief in the mission, Bug Hunters grew from a small operation into an award-winning brand known across industries.

Today, we’re working with global clients, adopting new technologies, and expanding into areas like SOC, NOC, and automated testing. The journey hasn’t always been easy—but it’s been deeply rewarding, and it’s far from over.”

When asked what advice he’d give to the next generation of leaders, Jay says:

“Stay adaptable and never stop learning. The world is changing fast, and your ability to keep up will shape your success.

Great leadership today means staying curious, listening well, and encouraging new ideas. Build teams that challenge the norm and don’t fear failure—it’s often the fastest path to breakthrough thinking.”

And if he could solve one global problem through his leadership?

“I’d work toward building a safer digital world.

Many small and mid-sized businesses still struggle with cybersecurity, leaving them open to serious threats. Through Bug Hunters, my aim is to make security simple, affordable, and strong—no matter the size of the company.

With the right awareness, tools, and collaboration between tech communities and governments, we can create a more secure future for everyone.”
