What inspired you to step into the world of marketing, especially in the IT space?

Early days of having a good mentor who helped me understand my capabilities and gave me the right opportunities in marketing.

Marketing in the IT/cybersecurity industry can be tricky! What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced, and how did you tackle it?

I see challenges as opportunities to do things differently and experiment. Being conscious of the environment and making the right choices for the business is probably a daily challenge we all face as marketers.

Marketing teams are the backbone of any brand—how do you build a high-performing team and align their goals with other departments?

Building a high-performing team is all about getting to understand each individual’s unique capabilities and allowing them to work in an environment that’s stimulating. A shared vision helps to align goals and objectives to ensure we are all on the same path.

What legacy do you hope to leave behind as a marketing leader?

I would say trust and value to the business.
