Dr. Makarand Sawant Joins Sahyadri Group as Vice President – Information Technology

Dr. Makarand Sawant joins Sahyadri Group and would head Digital Transformation and IT majorly as Vice President- Information Technology.
He has 23 years’ experience in automating multi-billion dollar enterprises. And has a strong pass record of success in creating robust IT architectures and infrastructures. Dr. Sawant has proved his ability to bring benefits of IT to solve business issues while managing costs and risk. His strategic direction on technology has earned him many national and international awards. Before join Sahyadri, he was the Senior General Manager – IT at Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corp. Ltd. He has a PhD in Analytics with research title “USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TO GIVE BUSINESS VALUE”.
