About: Animesh Kumar

He is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience and a strong background in information security. He has proven experience in conducting audits and implementing frameworks such as PCIDSS, ISO 27001, HiTrust, SOC2, and RBI GRC regulations. Currently, he is the Chief Information Security Officer at U GRO Capital in Noida. He also served as the Head of Information Security at the same company. In his current role, he heads cybersecurity initiatives for the leading fintech NBFC, leveraging his extensive domain knowledge and industry best practices.

About his previous roles:

Prior to his current role, Animesh Kumar has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. At Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd., he managed PCIDSS and ISO 27001 audits, third-party risk management, internal audits, and security awareness initiatives. As an Associate Consultant at HCL Technologies, he led the GRC team for a European healthcare client, conducting risk assessments and maintaining a risk register. At Biz2Credit, he served as Compliance Lead, implementing ISMS, managing controls, and performing risk assessments.
