Ajit Kumar Joins BharatPe as Chief Technology Officer

Ajit Kumar has joined BharatPe as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, he will spearhead BharatPe’s technology roadmap, focusing on digital payments innovation, fintech scalability, and security frameworks. With a proven record of driving enterprise-level technology initiatives, Ajit brings a wealth of experience in building secure, scalable, and consumer-friendly financial products.

About his previous roles:
Ajit Kumar, a seasoned technology leader with over 19 years of experience, joins BharatPe after a successful tenure as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Paytm. There, he led engineering operations for critical fintech products, including wallets, UPI systems, and merchant platforms. His leadership was instrumental in optimizing transaction flows, improving platform security, and scaling Paytm’s tech backbone to support millions of users.

Before Paytm, Ajit held strategic roles at Snapdeal (via Shopo), Times Internet, and SAP Labs India, where he focused on building scalable systems and streamlining application performance.
