Vathsavai Venkata Subba Raju has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at iBASIS, where he will define and execute enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy, strengthen security architecture, and oversee risk and compliance frameworks across the organisation’s global technology landscape. He served as Senior Director – CISO & Data Protection Officer (DPO) for APAC and India at NTT DATA Business Solutions, where he led regional security strategy, incident response, business continuity planning, and ISO-27001 implementation. Earlier in his career, Subba Raju held leadership roles across IT infrastructure and security functions at CallHealth, Dhanush InfoTech, Capgemini, and Microland, managing large-scale, multi-geography operations and complex enterprise environments.

Subba Raju has been recognised as an industry leader, holding certifications in CISM, CISA, and CRISC, and has been named among the CISO Platform Top 100 Cybersecurity Professionals for 2025, a distinction that reflects his influence in cybersecurity strategy and leadership.

KRC Murty Joins SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. as Executive Vice President – Head IT (BS)

KRC Murty has taken on the role of Executive Vice President and Head of IT (Business Systems) at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., where he will lead the insurer’s IT business systems functions, prioritising operational efficiency, platform stability, and technology enablement to support digital transformation. Murty is a veteran tech executive with more than 28 years of experience in IT and financial services. He comes from YES Bank, where he served as Senior President and Head of Business and Digital Technology Solutions, overseeing complex digital portfolios and transformation initiatives. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Kotak Mahindra Bank as Head of Run-the-Bank IT and a long tenure at Deutsche Bank, where he led technology support across corporate banking, asset management, and market data services.
