Netpoleon Bharat CXO Drive: Mumbai — The Journey Continuous | 2/12 City Tour 

After the initiation in Pune, the journey moved to Mumbai.

CXO Junction, in association with Netpoleon Bharat and its esteemed partners, Exabeam, Infoblox and BMC Helix brought the second chapter of the Netpoleon Bharat CXO Drive to Mumbai, bringing together cybersecurity leaders and technology decision-makers for an evening of candid conversations, peer exchange, and strategic perspectives on the evolving security landscape.

If Pune set the tone, Mumbai took the conversation further.

The questions travelled. The perspectives grew. The table got bigger.

What followed across the evening was a discussion grounded in a challenge every SOC leader recognises: signal volume that keeps climbing, threats that keep getting harder to catch early, and teams that need to move faster without losing accuracy. The Mumbai conversation zeroed in on how AI and automation are reshaping the way Security Operations Centres actually work.

And that gave the evening its focus.

The Conversation

The Mumbai chapter brought together George Joseph, Regional Sales Manager, Exabeam, Manjunath Kanchugar, Senior Solutions Engineer, Exabeam, and Hiten Radhanpura, Product Security Specialist – SAARC, Presales, Infoblox, with Mohinee Singh, Co-Founder & CEO, CXO Junction, moderating the discussion.

Security leaders came to the table carrying different environments, different maturity levels, and different pressures — but a shared question underpinned the evening: how do you turn a flood of signals into a set of decisions a team can actually act on?

The discussion centred on behavioural analytics, AI-driven SIEM, and the automation layer that sits between detection and response, but the real conversation was about judgement — how much of it can be augmented by AI, and how much still needs a human in the loop.

How do you teach a system to recognise behaviour that doesn’t belong, without drowning analysts in false positives? Where does AI-driven prioritisation genuinely reduce response time, and where does it just move the bottleneck? And as automation takes on more of the SOC’s routine load, what should security teams be doing with the time it gives back?

These questions gave the Mumbai conversation its shape.

They also carried forward the thread that started in Pune — visibility, context, and decision-making — and pushed it a step further, into the specific mechanics of how a modern SOC prioritises risk and shortens the distance between detection and action.

What began in Pune as a conversation about signals and visibility became, in Mumbai, a conversation about intelligence and automation — how leaders equip their teams not just to see more, but to act faster on what matters.

The value of the Mumbai evening extended beyond the formal discussion. Conversations continued between sessions. Leaders compared how their own SOCs were evolving, traded notes on where automation had genuinely paid off, and found common ground across organisations that don’t always look alike on paper.

That exchange remained an essential part of the CXO Drive experience.

Mumbai gave the conversation depth. The cities that follow will give it further direction.

A room full of leaders. One table. A conversation that keeps building on the one before it.

The journey continued to take shape through people, perspectives and conversations.

The Offensive vs Defensive Challenge

The evening also carried forward the Offensive vs Defensive Challenge, bringing the same competitive edge to the Mumbai chapter that it brought to Pune.

CXOs stepped into the challenge, taking on offensive and defensive scenarios that called for strategic thinking, quick decisions and the ability to respond under pressure.

By the end of the Mumbai round, the next set of finalists had emerged.
