Dr. Sunny Agarwal
A passionate educator, mentor, and innovation advocate who wears many hats—engineer, idea coach, orator, and CEO. With a strong commitment to fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem, especially in semi-urban and rural India, he brings invaluable experience in nurturing early-stage ventures. He holds an Integrated M.Tech. in Water Engineering and Management from the Central University of Jharkhand and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from K L Deemed to be University. A prolific academic, he has published 32 research articles, authored three books, and guided countless students in their projects. His workshops and sessions on design thinking and innovation inspire minds to turn ideas into impactful solutions.
About his previous roles:
Prior to his current role, Dr. Sunny Agarwal made significant contributions to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across India. As a Mentor of Change under the Atal Innovation Mission, he guided young minds in Atal Tinkering Labs, encouraging creativity and problem-solving. Through the MAARG Portal by Startup India, he offered personalized mentorship to startups, providing strategic advice and practical insights to drive growth. Additionally, his involvement with Startupbootcamp and the Wadhwani Foundation’s Ignite program showcased his dedication to empowering early-stage ventures, equipping entrepreneurs with the resources, networks, and knowledge to overcome challenges and achieve success.
