With over 19 years of experience in information security, Ravindra Pingle has built a reputation as a leader who is committed to safeguarding critical digital assets. Throughout his career, he has navigated the rapidly evolving threat landscape, ensuring that organizations remain resilient in the face of complex cyber challenges. He is known for his expertise in aligning security strategies with business objectives. He has successfully led large-scale security initiatives, implemented global frameworks, and strengthened organizational defenses. Now, as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of HDFC Pension, he is entrusted with protecting the company’s sensitive information infrastructure and driving a culture of security across operations.

About his previous roles:

Before joining HDFC Pension, he served as the Head of Information Security (ISO) at Lyra, where he led strategic initiatives to bolster business continuity management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security audits. His role was instrumental in strengthening customer trust and operational security. He also spent over six years at FIS, holding positions including Senior Manager – Information Security and Information Security Manager. Here, he managed PCI DSS and PCI PIN compliance, directed large security projects, and ensured robust vulnerability and risk management practices were in place across operations. He also held the role of Assistant Manager – Information Technology Security at Integreon, overseeing vendor management, internal audits, and compliance measures to mitigate risks. His earlier experience includes leading IT security and compliance at NIIT Technologies, where he set quality processes, spearheaded incident response teams, and ensured security incidents were resolved in adherence to SLAs. He began his career with engineering roles in security management at TVS Net and 3i Infotech, where he supported major clients in meeting ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS standards. Across these positions, Ravindra has consistently demonstrated the ability to merge technical depth with strategic foresight, delivering enterprise-grade security solutions for organizations across industries.
