In a significant leadership appointment in the financial services and technology sector, Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) has appointed Vishal Rathod as Chief Technology Officer. Vishal Rathod is a seasoned IT leader with over 20 years of experience across technology leadership, digital transformation, banking, and the NBFC sector. Throughout his career, he has worked across IT strategy, digital transformation, cloud computing, information security, infrastructure, regulatory compliance, and technology operations, with a strong focus on aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. 

Prior to joining AMFI, he served as Assistant Vice President – IT at Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited. Earlier, he held CIO positions at NKGSB Bank and SICOM Ltd., where he led digital transformation, IT operations, application modernization, cloud migration, infrastructure upgrades, information security, and regulatory compliance initiatives. He has also held technology and business roles at Fintellix Solutions, Essar, Mphasis, and HCL Global Systems, along with co-founding vendorfrog.com.

Jatinder Singh Malhotra has been appointed as Chief Information Officer at India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC).

Jatinder Singh Malhotra is a seasoned digital strategy and transformation leader with expertise across enterprise architecture, banking, insurance, and technology transformation. Prior to joining IMGC, he served as Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he worked on strategy and transformation initiatives. Earlier, he spent over five years at Accenture, progressing from Strategy Manager to Strategy Senior Manager. He also held multiple consulting roles at EY and began his professional career in technology consulting at Sapient, after starting his career in banking and financial services consulting at Infosys.

Rahul Kamath has been appointed as Head – Information Security & Data Privacy at Bajaj Integrated Health System.

Earlier, he was Deputy Vice President – Information Security Group at HDFC Bank and Associate Director at KPMG India. He also spent over 16 years at The Clearing Corporation of India Limited, progressing through technology and application security leadership roles, building extensive expertise across security architecture, secure SDLC, code review, and enterprise application security.

Yogesh Kulkarni has been appointed as Group Chief Information Security Officer – Global at STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited bringing two decades of experience across information security, cybersecurity, governance, risk and compliance, data protection, and security transformation. 

In his new role, Yogesh Kulkarni will focus on advancing STL’s global cybersecurity strategy, strengthening cyber resilience, managing enterprise security risks, and enhancing digital trust.
