I head the Information Security function across our geos. The responsibilities are strategic, tactical, and operational in nature, cutting across information security, cybersecurity, risk, business continuity, and ESG areas. With the help of a team, I manage the implementation of digital trust, integrating two management systems – ISO 27001 ISMS and ISO 9001 QMS.
Digital Trust Leader and a National Cyber Security Scholar with more than two decades of professional experience. He has rich experience in industries such as IT, ITES, Fintech, Healthcare / Pharma, Manufacturing, and R&D in various capacities, including Technical, Managerial, and Leadership roles. He is a thought leader with widely published contributions, including peer-reviewed international and national journals, and a purpose to drive the goals. He volunteers with global organisations such as ISO, ISACA, and BSI as well as national organisations such as ISAC and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). He actively engages with academia, government, industry, and the media. The type of volunteer work includes engaging in faculty development programs in colleges, conducting training and awareness sessions in colleges, mentoring professionals at all stages of their career, contributing to ISO standards development, writing articles and blogs for ISACA and the media, journals; reviewing whitepapers, articles, and journals; book reviews, reviewing conference papers and posters, performing cybercrime intervention, being a key note speaker and being a panel member in conferences, conclaves and round table discussions at national and international levels.
